SANDUSKY, OH – Ashley HomeStore, the largest retail furniture store brand in North America, has opened a new store in Sandusky at 5500 Milan Rd, Sandusky, OH 44870 next to Staples.
Shane Francis, Owner of the new Sandusky Ashley HomeStore, has been in the furniture business for 25 years. He started his first furniture store in 1994 in Lima, OH and currently owns and operates six Ashley HomeStores in Holland, Findlay, Lima, Bowling Green Defiance and Sandusky.
“Our community involvement drives our business. Although we are a global company, we integrate ourselves into the individual communities and partner with them to enhance the lives of the people we serve,” Francis said.
The new Sandusky store boasts 24,000 sq. ft. of showroom space filled with living room, dining room, bedroom, home office and youth furniture. In addition, a dedicated mattress showroom includes Tempur-Pedic ®, America’s most highly recommended bedding brand, Sealy ®, Stearns and Foster ® and Ashley-Sleep ®. The opening of the Sandusky store will create 14 additional jobs in the area.
The new store officially opened its doors Friday, August 30, just in time for the Labor Day holiday. The store hosted a Grand Opening Celebration event on September 9th.
