MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay – On July 25th, Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Punta Carretas celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of its new 15,200 sq. ft. showroom located on José Ellauri 435. Distinguished guests joined the Ashley Furniture HomeStore Licensee and employees at the event.
The new store is owned and operated by Claudia Chiarle and Gustavo Chiarle. This is their first Ashley Furniture HomeStore in the surrounding region and the first Ashley Furniture HomeStore in the country of Uruguay. The Montevideo store will employ approximately five people. Ashley Furniture HomeStore, the number one selling furniture store brand in the world, has more than 975 locations worldwide.

The showroom features complete lifestyle vignettes, down to the final detail of lighting, rugs and wall art. Product categories include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses and accessories. Technology enhances the environment, incorporating various elements to improve the customer shopping experience.
