Mexicali, Baja California Norte (Mexico) – On May 2nd 2019, Ashley Furniture HomeStore (Ashley) in Mexicali celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of its new 12,000 sq. ft. showroom located on Baja California Norte, the Mexican northern state that borders with California. Mexicali shares the border with Calexico, California, and is now the 14th Ashley Furniture HomeStores operating in Mexico.
The new store is owned and operated by Grupo Diamante Expo Muebles. The group has been an Ashley Furniture client for more than 20 years and decided to transform their family-owned furniture shop into the first Ashley HomeStore in Mexicali.
This is the 3rd Ashley Furniture HomeStore in the state of Baja California Norte. The Mexicali store will employ approximately 15 people. Ashley Furniture HomeStore, one of the World’s best selling furniture store brands, has more than 925 locations worldwide.

The store’s interior architectural design includes two floors including a Dream Destination gallery. The showroom features complete lifestyle vignettes, down to the final detail of lighting, rugs and wall art. Product categories include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses and accessories. Technology enhances the environment, incorporating various elements to improve the customer shopping experience.
