ARCADIA, Wis. – Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC (Ashley) and the Wanek family are recognizing students choosing to further their education by contributing over $285,000 in scholarships across the country. Over 125 students located near Ashley facilities have been awarded a scholarship to put towards their college tuition this fall.

said Megan Huber, parent of Ashley Scholarship Recipient. Continuing education is very important to us and along with that comes high costs; not only will this gift help him pay for college, it also provided a lesson in giving back.
Each year, Ashley provides two separate scholarship opportunities for children of Ashley employees who are graduating high school. The ‘Ashley Grants-in-Aid Scholarship’ provides a $2,000, one-time scholarship to graduating high school students who are enrolled in an accredited college or university during the following fall semester. The ‘Wanek Engineering and Design Scholarship’ is a one-time, $3,333.33 scholarship provided to graduating high school students pursuing a secondary degree in an Engineering or Design field.
To help offset the escalating costs of higher education, over 100 scholarships are awarded every year to children of Ashley Furniture employees. Throughout the years, Ashley and the Wanek family have provided millions of dollars towards education, in-kind services and more than 2,000 student scholarships.
Ashley’s Scholarship Program has provided money to go towards three of my children’s education. My entire family is very grateful for Ashley’s continued investment into education and the youth that receive the assistance,
