Ashley HomeStore’s Hope to Dream Program Celebrates 8th Anniversary with Milestone of 80,000 Donated Beds

Tampa, FL. — In the month of December, Ashley HomeStore’s Hope to Dream program is celebrating its 8th anniversary. Since its inception in 2010, the program has recently reached a milestone of 80,000 beds donated to children in need across the U.S. and Canada.

Hope to Dream hosted its anniversary event in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of the Suncoast and Glazer Children’s Museum. Saturday, December 15, 100 children and their families attended the event at the children’s museum where each child received a new twin mattress, bed sheets, pillow, comforter and bed frame. The children enjoyed free admission to the museum’s exhibits and exciting interactive games. Each child also received a special gift from Hope to Dream and Ashley HomeStore.

We are excited to celebrate the children during our anniversary event. For the past eight years, we have been committed to our mission of providing a good night’s sleep to every child in need with a bed donation from Ashley HomeStore and Hope to Dream, said Ruthie Bautista, Hope to Dream Ambassador. We also thank the amazing partnership with Boys & Girls Club of the Suncoast and the Glazer Children’s Museum for providing this special venue for this event.

A portion of the proceeds for every mattress purchased at a participating Ashley HomeStore helps pay for a mattress to provide children in the community a good night’s sleep who do not have a bed to call their own.

We are grateful for this opportunity to partner with Ashley Furniture HomeStore to provide 100 Club members with a great night sleep, stated Cassie Kackley, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast, Chief Development Officer. We thank them for their dedication and commitment to our local Pinellas County kids.
